Goals
KOBE International Harmony-Eyes Association was established in 2006 and started activities through the experiences of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, aiming for expanding citizens' practice on the base of a warm-hearted network "KIZUNA".

KOBE International Harmony-Eyes Association endeavors to create a flow of good deeds and expand sustainable and multilateral social actions to help solve social issues all over the world. We believe that it is necessary to create a system to develop and continue the citizen's movements, rather than allowing them to be just temporary.
In order to change the direction of society by fully utilizing 21st Century modern technology such as the Internet and digital imaging, we have developed our grassroots documentary-hosting website, "Wajju" by integrating the Web and the real world.
Through Wajju, we transmit all the stories of hope that originated as various grassroots activities, and create a flow of good deeds, which are specific practices based upon learning, empathy and bonding.
And throughout the entire process we gather people, wisdom and funds to establish a "Trinity Network" for collaborating with one another worldwide. We want to create sustainable and multilateral stories of hope that will endure and inspire for years and decades.

Citizens are the leading stars! Reach out to the world!

As a companion to our virtual communication tools, the website and documentary films, KOBE HARMONY-EYES PROJECTS offers citizen-participation events aiming at fostering active exchange between the young generation and social activists that evolves into social support. The goal is to build a bridge between the young generation who will be the leaders for the next generation, with social players such as musicians, artists, business managers, and intellectuals. We look ahead to the young generation to spontaneously work on socially active programs in the future.
